About us: we're building the tool we needed

Ads and Pixels is the platform Houston IT Developers is building to run its own agency clients' campaigns first — then open it up to other agencies and businesses.

Why this exists

Houston IT Developers is a Houston, Texas agency that runs paid media, builds software, and manages web and app projects for a real, working client roster — not a venture-funded startup with no customers of its own. Running campaigns for those clients across Meta, Google, Microsoft, TikTok and a growing list of other networks meant living inside the same problems every agency knows: five separate dashboards that never agree on the numbers, an AI "optimizer" nobody trusts because it explains nothing, and a first-party data strategy that most small agencies simply don't have. Ads and Pixels is the tool we're building to fix that for ourselves first. The plan is to run our own clients' campaigns on it before we ever sell it to anyone else — Zellaro Tile, Adore Him Film, AI Phone 360, Mass Times Near Me and the Catholic Connect family of sites are the real clients we already manage, and they're who this platform gets built and proven on first, not case-study logos borrowed for a landing page.

What "we built it for ourselves first" actually means

It means every feature in Ads and Pixels — the Results Map that shows which ad actually produced a lead or a call, the Audience Vault that gives each client their own first-party data store instead of pooling everyone's, the AI Optimizer that explains its reasoning before it moves budget — is being built because we need it running a real agency, not because it tested well in a focus group. It also means we'll feel the rough edges before a customer does: once our own clients' campaigns are running on it, if a network's API breaks, changes a rate limit or adds a new policy, we find out the same week it happens, not from a support ticket.

Local Screens — the other half of what we're building

Alongside the advertising platform, we're also building Local Screens: a network of TVs in restaurants, gyms, churches and waiting rooms that any business will be able to plug into with a low-cost streaming-box player, running its own menus and promos for free, with a later option to earn a share of revenue by opening unsold screen time to paid ads. It's a newer part of what we're building, with a pilot planned at our own local clients before it opens more broadly — the same "run it ourselves first" principle applied to a second product, not just the ad platform.

Who we build for

In order: agencies who manage paid media for many clients and need one honest place to run and report on all of it, including reselling the platform under their own brand; local and small businesses running their own ads without a dedicated media buyer; businesses hosting a Local Screens TV in their location; and specialist campaigns — film releases, e-commerce, churches and nonprofits, political campaigns — that need rules and reporting the general-purpose platforms don't build for.

How we talk about what's not built yet

We'd rather list a network as "coming" than pretend it's live. This site says plainly which platforms Ads and Pixels connects to and controls directly today, which ones are reporting-only, and which are tracked manually because no usable API exists — the same standard we hold every page on this site to, including this one.

Frequently asked questions

Real answers before you make a decision.

Is Ads and Pixels a startup, or part of an existing agency?

Both, honestly. Houston IT Developers is an operating agency with real clients; Ads and Pixels is the software product being built out of that work, planned to sell to other agencies and businesses once it's proven on our own.

Where is Houston IT Developers based?

Houston, Texas.

Do you actually use Ads and Pixels for your own clients, or is it only sold to others?

The plan is to run our own agency clients' campaigns on it first, before it's sold to anyone else — that's the whole origin of the product, not a marketing line. Those clients are real; running them on this specific platform is what we're building toward.

Can I resell Ads and Pixels under my own brand?

Yes — the Reseller plan includes full white-labeling, including for the Local Screens product. See Pricing for details.

Do you build everything in-house, or use other companies' tools underneath?

Where an existing, well-built piece already exists — a payments processor, a cloud database — we use it rather than rebuilding it badly. The platform connections, reporting, AI Optimizer and Audience Vault are ours.
