Advertise on Facebook and Instagram from one dashboard

Build the campaign once, review it with real previews, and launch it paused on Meta's own Marketing API — then watch it in a Results Map that only credits an ad what it actually earned.

Who this is for

If you advertise on Facebook and Instagram for more than one client or more than one product line, you already know the problem isn't the platform — it's everything around it. Ads Manager is built for one advertiser looking at one account. Ads and Pixels is built for an agency running twelve, or a local business owner who wants Facebook and Instagram handled alongside Google and TikTok without three different logins.

That covers most of who ends up here: media buyers at agencies managing client rosters, local businesses (restaurants, home services, dental and medical practices) running their first real campaigns, ecommerce stores that need Meta ads tied to actual Shopify revenue, and churches or nonprofits whose Facebook advertising has to answer to a board, not just a vanity metric. If you don't yet advertise on Facebook at all, the industry templates below get a first campaign running without guessing at objectives.

What you can actually do here

This is a full integration, not a reporting mirror. Ads and Pixels talks to Meta's Marketing API directly, so anything you'd do by hand in Ads Manager, you can do here — with the parts that go wrong most often built in as guardrails.

  • Campaign build, Basic or Advanced. Basic mode picks the right objective, optimization event and bidding for your goal (calls, leads, purchases, trials, app installs, bookings, messages, store visits or awareness) and applies Meta's own limits automatically — radius targeting between 1 and 80 km around a pin, Special Ad Category rules (no ZIP targeting, 15-mile minimum radius, no age/gender narrowing, no lookalikes) applied the moment the app detects housing, employment or credit content. Advanced mode exposes every native setting: placements, manual bid caps once you've got roughly 50 conversions a week, custom conversions, lookalikes, experiments, frequency caps, bulk edits across every client account, and a raw JSON view.
  • Real audiences. Retargeting segments built in the Audience Vault — "visited pricing in 30 days, didn't buy, consented" — sync to Meta as Custom Audiences daily, hourly for hot segments, adds and removes only.
  • AI creative and optimization. Generate ad copy, images or video with real Meta placement previews before anything launches, and let the AI optimizer reallocate budget toward the ad sets actually producing verified results.
  • Built paused, always. Every campaign launches paused for review — yours or your client's, via an optional approval link — and a pre-launch policy check flags likely disapprovals before you submit.
  • Server-side tracking. Meta Conversions API sends run alongside the browser pixel with shared event IDs, so a conversion never gets counted twice and iOS tracking limits don't blind your reporting.

If you already advertise on Facebook through Ads Manager directly, none of your existing campaigns need to be rebuilt to benefit — a one-time bulk URL update adds the tracking parameters the Results Map needs, and the app warns you where Meta will re-review an edited ad.

How attribution actually works on Meta

Every ad Ads and Pixels launches carries Meta's own dynamic URL parameters — {{campaign.id}}, {{adset.id}}, {{ad.id}} — so the landing page always knows exactly which campaign, ad set and ad sent the click. The Audience Vault's collector stores those IDs alongside Meta's click identifiers (fbclid, fbc) on the visit, and carries them through to the lead, call or sale.

A conversion only ever gets credited as deep as the evidence goes. Click evidence with an ad ID gets credited to that exact ad. Evidence that only reaches a campaign or ad set gets shown as "ad not known" at that level — never guessed down to a specific creative. A platform-reported conversion with no click evidence sits in its own "claimed by platforms" band, separate from your verified count. Anything the Audience Vault or your CRM saw with no ad touch at all — direct visits, word of mouth — shows as "Unattributed," never spread across your ads to make the numbers look better. Meta's own dashboard will still show different totals than the Results Map; the plain-English note next to every number explains exactly why.

Costs and budget

There's no platform minimum to advertise on Facebook or Instagram — whatever your budget, you set a daily or total figure per campaign, with a spend cap per client, and Ads and Pixels splits it across the networks you choose automatically (editable any time). Bidding is picked for you at first; manual caps unlock once a campaign has enough volume to make them useful rather than risky. Exact plan pricing for Ads and Pixels itself is on /pricing. Most businesses that advertise on Facebook for the first time start small and scale the budget once the AI optimizer has enough data to bid with confidence.

Frequently asked questions

Real answers before you make a decision.

Do I need a separate Instagram account to advertise on Facebook and Instagram together?

No — Meta runs both from the same ad account. When you advertise on Facebook through Ads and Pixels, Instagram placements are included by default unless you turn them off; Advanced mode lets you split budget or creative by placement if you want them handled differently.

Can Ads and Pixels manage a Facebook ad account I already have?

Yes. Connect the existing ad account during onboarding, and both past performance (for reporting) and new campaigns going forward run through the same dashboard and the same Results Map.

Is this Ads and Pixels' own product, or a Meta tool?

Ads and Pixels is built by Houston IT Developers LLC and connects to Meta's public Marketing API. We're not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Meta Platforms, Inc. Facebook, Instagram and Meta are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc.

How does the AI optimizer decide where to move budget?

It looks at verified results from the Audience Vault, not platform-claimed numbers, and shifts spend toward the ad sets producing real leads, calls or sales at the lowest verified cost — with every change logged and reversible.

What happens if I already advertise on Facebook with campaigns Meta might re-review?

The one-time bulk update that adds tracking parameters only touches the URL field. Meta occasionally re-reviews an ad after any edit, including this one; the app tells you in advance which campaigns that applies to so nothing pauses by surprise.

Do you support Special Ad Category campaigns (housing, employment, credit)?

Yes, automatically. The app detects the category from your business type and applies Meta's required restrictions — no ZIP targeting, 15-mile minimum radius, no age/gender narrowing, no lookalike audiences — before the campaign can launch.

Can I see Facebook and Instagram broken out separately in reporting?

Yes. The Results Map rolls everything up to one Meta total by default, and every level — platform, campaign, ad set, ad — can be filtered or split by placement.

Is there a minimum budget to advertise on Facebook here?

No platform minimum is set by us; Meta's own auction has practical floors that vary by objective and audience, and Basic mode shows the realistic range for your goal before you commit spend.
